Ground Prep

Proper ground prep ensures your sod will roll out level and be able to properly establish a healthy root system.

1. Install sprinkler system
2. Clear all rocks and weeds.
3. Til ground to approx 4″ or add 4″ of topsoil mulch.
4. Rake out and level soil.
5. Use roller to smooth and compact the soil.

Order Sod

Sod Installation

Proper sod installation will ensure proper establishment of your newly rolled sod.

• Install sod within 24hrs of arrival.
• Start with a long straight line.
• Offset end seems (brick wall pattern).
• Pull rolls tightly together.
• Water immediately after installation.

 

Watering

The 3 most important things you can give your new lawn is … Water, Water and Water.

• Soak the sod completely immediately after installation.
• Water 3 times EVERYDAY (morning, noon & night) for 3 weeks.
• If your sod begins to brown … water it more!
